Then. Acquiring his first playstation Chris only had one game, and one passion: Music 2000. While we spent dusk till dawn marathons on Grand Tourismo blistering our thumbs, Chris was knitting together his first beats. After only 2 months practising it was obvious a glittering future lay ahead.

Now. The game is collecting dust but the passion has kicked into hyper-drive. B-poles style is simple. That’s all. Simple, but effective … ok, funk laced too. Fast becoming a flag waver for the UK’s minimal scene, and no doubt a future regular in the DJ sets of crowd pleasers such as Magda and Marc Houle.

Alas the love transcends the production. Chris’s laptop DJ sets provide a tapestry of his own material, providing transient landscapes complete with edits and haunting samples to boot.

The vitriol of B-Poles click vogue will be drop kicking dance floors from Ibiza to Buenos Aires. People have began to thirst for this musical porn. Bodice ripping grooves which will have people running screaming from the hills.
