We've been sitting on these tracks for a number of months & I've been itching to release them; our 50th release is the right occasion to do so. When i first heard them they blew my mind, the Martin Buttrich remix is personally as beautiful as I've heard from him & for me its very reminiscent of those early heady summer days drifting around ibiza with the sun beating down. Whilst Martins remix certainly still ties in with the four:twenty sound, the remaining remixes provide a less dance floor and more left of centre sound; something we've enjoyed listening to in the daytime on the ipod, they've provided a moment of calm. Fragkur (from sigur ros) delivers a mesmorising piece that builds into frenzied structured chaos before returning to a last moment of calm, with both the Faultline & Chris Coco remixes offering a more laid back sun drenched approach... something for after hours.
